These Terms govern your use of Engy (the “Service”), an online tool that presents engineering-style practice questions and gives feedback on your reasoning. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
Engy is a study and interview-practice tool. It is provided for educational purposes only. It is not professional, engineering, or career advice, and it does not guarantee any interview result, job offer, exam score, or other outcome.
You create an account with an email address and password. You’re responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. Accounts are for a single person. Don’t share your login. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
Some questions are available for free as a preview (a fixed number per topic). Full access to all questions requires an active paid plan.
Refunds are described in our Refund Policy.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your full card number and payment details go directly to Stripe and are never sent to or stored on Engy’s servers. Your use of Stripe’s checkout is also subject to Stripe’s terms.

The questions, solutions, diagrams, text, and other materials in the Service are owned by Engy or its licensors. Your paid access is a personal, non-transferable license to use them for your own study. You keep ownership of the answers and text you write.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We don’t warrant that the content is error-free, that feedback is correct, or that the Service will be uninterrupted. Engy is a learning aid, not a substitute for professional judgment.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Engy will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or opportunities. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms (for example, abusing the Service or violating Section 6).
We may update these Terms. If we make a material change, we’ll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
